What I collect, and what I don't.

This policy explains how Marketing Wala collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our websites, software, web applications, and marketing services.

• To communicate project updates, invoices, and technical support.

3. Data sharing

• We do not sell personal data.
• Data may be shared with service providers such as hosting, payment, or API providers when required to deliver service.
• Information may be disclosed if legally required.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies and analytics for session behaviour, technical diagnostics, and performance optimisation.

5. Data security

• Restricted access controls and secure infrastructure are used for sensitive information.
• We apply routine updates and internal security practices to reduce risk.

8. MarketingWala Connect (WhatsApp messaging software)

MarketingWala Connect (tech.marketingwala.me) is our software for sending and receiving WhatsApp messages through Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform. When you use it:

• What we store: your account details (your password only as a secure hash; your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google), your WhatsApp Business account and phone number IDs, the access token Meta issues to our app (stored encrypted), your message templates, contacts (names, numbers, tags and opt-in status), messages and files you send or receive, invoices and payment references, and your chats with our AI help assistant.
• Your contacts and messages stay yours: we process them only to provide the service to you. We never sell them and never use them for our own marketing.
• Who processes data for us: Meta Platforms (every WhatsApp message passes through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform), OpenAI (writes our AI assistant's answers), Google (sign-in), our email provider, public blockchain services (to confirm USDT payments) and our cloud server provider. Meta and OpenAI may process data outside Pakistan.
• How long we keep it: messages (chats and campaign messages) and the per-person details of each campaign are kept for 6 months and then deleted automatically; each campaign's totals (how many were sent, delivered, read and replied, and the cost) are kept. Contacts, templates and settings are kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, your contacts, messages, templates, files and WhatsApp connection are erased; invoices and an anonymous account record stay for accounting. Backups are encrypted and cleared on a rolling basis (within 30 days), AI assistant logs after 60 days, AI agent logs after 90 days and website chats after 90 days.
• Security: HTTPS everywhere, Meta access tokens encrypted at rest, hashed passwords, protection against cross-site request forgery and daily backups.
• Website chat: the chat assistant on our websites saves a random visitor ID in your browser, and the details you choose to leave (name, WhatsApp number, business type) so our team can contact you.
